The Last Day of Neopets Advent Calendar

It seems like only yesterday that the Advent Calendar started at Neopets. We got some great book and treats and, as usual, some junk items. I always hope that the last day of the event will grace us with something super special like a paint brush or Negg or even a Battledome weapons. That wasn't the case. We ended up with 729NP, a Christmas Fir and a New Years Cake made just for 2017. The Fir was hard to miss in the animation so I walked away with a Snowager Key Chain. I spotted some cheap cakes (300NP or less) but I am sure the price will drop even further in the near future. Most books and food are one-time-use so when you read the books or eat the food, it disappears from your inventory. If you are a hoarder there are some great items already selling cheap but if you wait a while you'll be able to score more items for less NP. There's been a lot of complaining about the prizes but come on, it's free and only takes a couple of seconds to the “Claim My Prize” button. Photo : Neopets / Used with permission
