It's 2017! / myLot

How did you spend the New Year's Eve. We just had a laid back celebration. Actually, we did not cook like we used to. Dad and I went to our favorite restaurant and got some food to go. I heard Mass alone. Mom decided to stay home take care of my baby as she was so tired these day before. At the stroke if midnight, when the firecrackers were booming here and there my baby awoke. Scared to death. Poor little thing. When the noise finally subsided, we were able to go back to sleep.

Fireworks are so noisy and frighten my cat. We had a lovely time with friends here for cocktails, going out to dinner at our favorite restaurant, and back to our house for dessert, and yes, fireworks.
