As some of you may remember I have been having problems with a sore neck due to my pillow. So I was on a hunt to find just the right one. Trouble with that is you have to buy them. I was bugged by this but thankfully my husband just wanted me to get the right one no matter how many I had to buy to find it.
I have tried foam, just the cheap one, feather, fake feather, and memory foam. All to no avail. My husband told me to get the MY PILLOW but they want 50 bucks for one and I didn't get it.Then a member of mylot @CRK109 Claudia Kirkand told me about a pillow she bought on QVC I have never been on that website nor have I watched QVC on tv. But I thought at this point what do I have to lose. So I went and looked at the pillow she suggested and decided to buy it.
It was a two pack and I didn't really want two pillows but it was the only way to get the pillow. It's called Queen Memory Foam Pillow w/Rayon made from Bamboo by Lori G. All together it cost me 64 dollars for 2 pillows. The way most memory pillows are made is one piece of memory foam makes up the whole pillow, not horribly comfortable in my opinion. The one I bought from QVC is made up of memory foam but the foam is not all one piece but rather many pieces all jumbled up inside the pillow.
So I got the pillows and had to unroll it and let it puff up as most memory foam products are when you have them shipped to your house. It didn't take long. When it seemed to be ready I laid on it for a short time, my first thought was rats another pillow I won't be able to use, it felt to hard. I do like a firm pillow but it has to be comfortable especially for my neck. But I was determined to give it a fair trial.
It has now been about 3 weeks since I started to use this pillow. OMG is this a wonderful pillow, I no longer think it's hard and it's so comfortable and best of all my neck ache finally went away after months of pain and still no neck ache. I do believe I have found my forever pillow. And I still have one that I haven't used yet for when the first one is no longer useful.
All I can say is thanks thanks a billion times thanks to Claudia for seeing my post and telling me about this pillow. I could absolutely cry with happiness that my neck is no longer sore and I don't have to buy another pillow.
Now what to do with the pile of 5 pillows next to my bed lol.

Most people never realize how important it is to have the right mattress or the right pillow on their bed. It can make all the difference in the world for back and neck pain, and whether or not we get a good night's sleep or not. For years, I slept on a soft mattress, and always had back pain, and then one day I slept on a very firm mattress at a friend's house, and it was the best night of sleep I ever got! Once I purchased a new firm mattress for my own bed, all my back problems went away!

I too need a firm mattress, the memory foam did the trick for me as I was also feeling the coils which was not a comfortable thing,

@fishtiger58 I think when it's time to finally get a new mattress for myself, I'm going to buy a memory foam mattress. I slept on one a few months ago when I was visiting a friend, and it was probably one of the best nights of sleep I have had in a really long time!

@moffittjc Memory foam is pretty awesome. I would wake up at least 4 mornings a week with bed back as I call it. It's happened now once in 3 years with the memory foam mattress. A win as far as I'm concerned.

@fishtiger58 I hope it continues to work for you too. I need to find a legitimate feather pillow, not a fake one.

I have tried no pillow and that doesn't work for me. I hope this pillow continues to make me happy. Yea that's what I'm going to do with those pillows, but them on the bed in the room my son used to have when he lived here.

I am looking for "the" pillow. I have been through many and I too have a pile next to my bed and in my closet. My preference is a down pillow, but they go flat after awhile and cost a small fortune too.

I say keep them as guest pillows, that is what I do. I only use down pillow, I like to adjust them to the shape I want.

@fishtiger58 some down pillows are incredibly soft but of course the price reflects that.

Down is all I ever used, but these days they are too hard for me. I did have to switch pillows in the middle of last night, guess it's just the way it going to be for me from now on. At least it's not a 2 month neck ache like last time, my neck is starting to feel better this morning.

I have my pillow - would not trade it for all the tea in China. I a not a fan of memory foam, we stayed in a rental that had master bed like that and we had to sleep in a smaller room. I hope your pillow works for you, but My Pillow is here to stay.

@fishtiger58 You can - buy from QVC and you have 30 days to try and return. My husband only used a feather pillow his whole life....he didn't want a My Pillow - now he loves it. I asked if he wanted a feather pillow - no no no...

@AbbyGreenhill I too used a feather pillow most of my life, and then it seemed so darn hard I had to quit using it. I had for a short time as does my husband a Beyond Down pillow that seemed fine again for a short time. My husband loves his Beyond Down pillow. I may have to get one from QVC and see what I think. I do want to try one.

Oh I'm so happy for you- I need some kind of better support too- So I guess you're saying the hardness you experienced has changed right now about your pillow?

I think so, it's still pretty firm but it's comfortable. It's hard to say if you would like it and I sure thought I made a mistake buying it but it's turned out very well for me.

I have a pillow like that, I bought it at Costco for $20. I've had it at least a year and it's still in perfect condition with no signs of needing to be replaced.

@fishtiger58 I used to use the regular memory foam pillows and found they needed replacing regularly as they'd go flat pretty quick. I like that this one hasn't flattened at all. Mine also has one side that's all gel to keep it cool. It's awesome in the summer.. though in winter I have to add an extra pillowcase!

It just took a little for the pillow to mold to you =) Glad you are now longer having neck aches! Might want to buy an extra as back up just encase it goes out of the stock or gets discontinued.

That IS wonderful news. I have to use an orthopedic type of pillow, and my husband's factory used to have a sister factory that made them, so we were able to get them at cost back then. Now they are around $100 to buy, and as you know, pillows don't last forever, so I shell that out when its necessary. But I'm never bothered with a sore neck and I hope that you aren't either now.

@fishtiger58 I have never questioned the cost because going around tired from a poor night's sleep and a sore neck is no way to live. And we did save a lot of money over the years when we got them for cost.

So far so good, I hope to never have this problem again. As for a 100 dollar pillow if it works it's worth the money, as we do spend one third of our lives sleeping.
