Using your tablet vertically

I found out from trial and error, texting articles and writing messages on forums is better if you do things portrait style, aka, vertically, for the following reasons. 1. First reason - the virtual keypad is far enough below as to not be blocking the texting window. 2. Second reason - ads below the texting window do not block the texting window. Using a stylus is easier and doesn't scratch or smudge the surface of the screen.

I prefer it for pretty much everything I do on my devices. You can lock the screen to that orientation in the quick access menu at the top of the screen.

I've always used my tablet vertically. Horizontal just never felt comfortable for me, unless I was streaming a movie.
