Well, I think that this is going to prove just how patient I can be. I sent the sample out on the 28th of Dec and apparently, it hasn't arrived. Yes, they will tell me when the sample is in their hands. But the nice thing about the waiting time is that there are zillions okay a whole lot of videos on the subject. I'm learning a lot and there is even a referral that I can offer for 10% off if someone wants to take the test too. I looked it up and apparently for Christmas the price is running at $99.00. Sadly hubby paid $149.00 before the Christmas prices took effect. And here is one thing that I didn't know. Ancestry gives you your raw data and someone said that there is a website... gedmatch.com who will take the raw data and run more tests for free. The man who shared the info was pleasantly pleased to find even more findings from the second lab. Now how cool is that!! So waiting isn't a bad thing after all. ;)

I hope you will share your findings once you get your results. I've often wondered if, other than the curiosity factor, there would be a beneficial reason to pay for one of these tests.

There is a more expensive test that you can take from 23 and Me... who looks at medical issues that you should be aware of. Unless it's in my immediate family... I don't think that I would want to know.
