Trusting your Doctor

A typical trip to a doctor's office usually culminates in a prescription for whatever ailment you have. Doctors prescribe pharmaceuticals on a regular basis and most people do not question it. The standard research we do on the prescription is to read the label and recognize the drug name. Any further investigation will only be accomplished once there is a side effect. What happens next is just a part of a grander plan where we add more drugs to our regimen. What doesn't happen at a doctor's office is a discussion of the malady with respect to home solutions. The reason this happens is because doctors are not rewarded by NOT prescribing pharmaceuticals. Doctors who consistently prescribe "medicine" get preferential treatment by the pharmaceutical companies. They usually do not discuss nutrition or the use of household products to help in the healing process. People have to do their own research if they intend to heal themselves.

Hi Daniel,
I read your post and thought you hit the nail on the head. I am new to the forum and was looking around at comments. I can tell you pay attention and understand the importance of self care and due diligence. It was good to read something refreshing at the beginning of the New Year. Thank you!

I do my own research all the time when someone says that something is wrong with them.
