I openned my other browser and when the tab of my email openned Windows crashed.

I then let the computer restart itself after the blue screen of death message appeared and rebooted my system. I opened up my browser an closed the tab that opened up my email.
I think there must be some conflict with email servers at the moment.
The thing is, I can get my email from my PC directly without using my browser and if I click on an email message on my desktop all I have to do is wait until the window opens that gives me all of my latest emails that I can click on and read without my browser.
Does anyone know why this might happen? Could it be a national security measure to protect me from email hackers? I am but one of over 1 billion who used Yahoo to have fun with and learned that there was a major security hack with Yahoo!
The security breach was real and may have had negative effects on people's computers and other devices.
I know I have issues with windows 10 but for the moment, my windows 10 pc is running fair but still won't let me use my external hard drive to do backups so I figure the external hard drive is bad. Could be that I need to replace it. I wanted to run an HP hardware diagnostics tool on my out of date PC but they don't provide the application for those of us who are now using Windows 10. The only diagnostic tools they have for Windows 10, appears to be pay up front or get a new PC. I am only guessing and am in no way saying anything to discredit HP or their afilliates nor do I wish to say bad things about Microsoft.
I only want my PC to run smoothly. And it seems the market is geared towards planned obsolescence.

@LeaPea2417 When I finally got the system's RAM to work by eliminating a bad chip, I was then able to run a DOS SYSTEM check on everything and after all systems including memory check succeeded without fail, I then did a factory reset of my computer. Now I am back using Windows 7. I am definitely a happy camper.

One of my ram chips was fried. I removed it and now my system is running at only 6 GB RAM but better than nothing. Now I am using windows 7 home premium. I managed to do a factory restore and now I have to go try to find my printer driver online.

It's been quite a long time since I've used a Windows PC. I've been using Mac computers and laptops for a while now, so I almost forgot about the BSOD. When I had a Windows PC, any time that blue screen reared its ugly head I would practically have a heart attack. I hope you get everything worked out on your computer.

I think I will go one better. I will not buy a new windows pc. I think I'll get a mac but that also means I will have to buy The Sims 4 for Mac. if it is available.

@moffittjc , meantime I am back to a factory restore to windows 7 home premium. Now I am sure I will not get any of those nasty blue screen error messages. Well, I hope not. If I do I will not be able to blame it on windows 10. lol
