I've got more reasons to fear for humanity's future.

So in light of my recent loss, I've been watching videos on youtube that'll make me laugh.
As result, I learned of something that increases my fear for humanity's future. According to an Oklahoma University study over 80% of Americans support a mandatory label for foods containing DNA. Y'know the very building blocks of life itself.
So now I'm terrified of how these people would react to the fact that they themselves are made of DNA. Since these schmucks were told that DNA contains disease, they'd probably panic... We'd probably have a purge on our hands.
But yeah, I'm dumbfounded, here's the article link:
A recent survey finds that over 80 percent of Americans support "mandatory labels on foods containing DNA." This survey result is a particularly blatant example of the problem of widespread political and scientific ignorance.

@Hanyouyomi I was talking about "humanity" in a major (spirit) importance.

@TheInvisibleMan Oh that... Trust me, it seems that I try that every day to be let down. Case and point, this. How do people NOT know what DNA is? This is second to third grade level stuff.

They will probably die of terror if they find out how much carbon is out there...

@Hanyouyomi - yep, we breathe out loads of it, not to mention we're made of it and so is every living thing. Terrifying!

@AliCanary Maybe, since they don't know what DNA is. But how does one not know what DNA is? This is second to third grade level crap. And your hypothetical scenario on people wigging out over learning how much carbon is in the world? I might have a fit if that occurred.
