Why is it that beauty pageant contestants always answer "world peace" to questions regarding their goal and wishes?

@Dobidoy - it's a beauty contest not a mensa conference. I don't know why they even speak.

They shouldn't get participants that are dumb... REALLY. The world watches it.

But isn't it nicer if you really have a beauty and brains in a package. They should be role models for our kids.

I have no idea - but it has become a bit of a FUN answers in our home when we dont know a question to anything we just say "world peace" ha ha ha and then everyone laughs
