Is corporate recognition system fair?

Corporate lives always have been very shinned and glittering.
Some truly said “Corporate man ? Tensed, depressed but still well dressed”.
Many of us are part of corporate life. Today I want to discuss about the recognition in corporate.
Many of us work hard to achieve goals for our company. We spent our day/night for growth of company first and then it’s our turn to grow because simple formula is when company grow?Employee grow.
But when it comes to recognition. Is it really fair?
We work hard, we give our best, we take responsibilities and in the end, there was someone who got recognition for achiever.
What do you over this? Do you faced any situation?

Yes, I worked so hard and what was I being told off? No team work. And when others got a thank you gift, what did I get? Nothing. I promised myself that I would not work as hard as I did but I still did, and do... Still hurt when I think about it.
