It's 30 degrees here in Colombo today, cloudy, and I wish I was back in the mountains with the cool breezes and cool mountain streams to sit beside and bathe my tired feet in. But my grandfather needs me in his office today here in the stinking heart of the steaming city so here I must be. The positive side is that I get to use a computer again, something denied me in the mountains where I prefer to be. We have no internet connection in that remote town, not a consistent one anyway, and the thought of using the internet sweetens the prospect of spending a few days in this stifling city.
