The Houston Texans management on Tuesday will go with former Denver Broncos backup quarterback Brock Osweiler for the American Football Conference Wild Card Game versus the Oakland Raiders that will be played at NRG Stadium on Saturday.
Tom Savage who was the starting quarterback of the Texans has not been cleared to play in the Wild Card playoff game versus the Raiders so Osweiler will make his playoff start of his career in the National Football League.
Savage suffered a concussion injury during the Week 18 loss to the Tennessee Titans last Sunday afternoon.
Osweiler was the backup quarterback of the Denver Broncos from 2012-2015 behind Peyton Manning before he signed a four year, $72 million dollar contract with the Houston Texans as a free agent in 2016.

Meanwhile, the Raiders might be starting a QB who has never started a game before. Oh well, it was a great season. Raider Nation finally has hope.
