Ear wax sucks

So I been having ear wax build up issues and been doing all kinds of treatments. The only effective one so far is using a heat pad (homemade one) and using the ear pick to pick out wax as it melts. I do hot water treatments in the shower and is helping very little. The heat from my heat pack is helping some little by little. I just hope my ears get better very very soon. Doctors won't do anything but recommend ear drops which aren't really effective. So pray the heat pack works faster.

Someone I know uses Olive Oil dipped in one of those baby ear cleaners with the cotton tops. Would not fancy having mne done really mine just pops out by itself. It must be bothersome though.

I hope it gets better soon. Have you tried searching online for things to do to help?

My Right ear is clogged to where it sometimes hurts and I am hoping to bring this up with all my other issues when I see him tomorrow. I know in the past I have gotten a washrag really hot with Hot water and then used it when I was sleeping or taking a nap and it did help some relieve to where it drained some as well. Ask your doctor to see if they can drain it or give you their treatment suggestions.

my grandmother had that problem-she had narrow ear canals..but she poured hydrogen peroxide in her ear,let it sit for a moment, then drained it.worked for her everytime-the wax came right out.

That sounds terrible. I know there is this new q-tip device looking thing that is shaped like a bee and it claims it is the most efficient way of cleaning. I don't know if that can help drainage but perhaps it can help relieving something!
