The Super Bowl: why must it be on the only sporting event to be a American TV ratings success every year?? / myLot

what about the other major sporting events? such as the Olympics or NBA All-Star Game. why can we treat them the same way we do the Super Bowl?

I don't really know. Probably because football has taken over and people enjoy it more and actually know of names better than any other sport!

i'm guessing because it's been overhyped longer.it'd be nice if hockey was like that too..
