@jstory07 I hate PayPal FEES in the Philippines. USA residents are lucky because it is free for them. I prefer Bitcoin because sending/receiving funds worldwide is a lot CHEAPER and FASTER.

Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency -- VIRTUAL/DIGITAL CURRENCY or INTERNET MONEY. In order to send/receive Bitcoin and cash it out in fiat currency (USD, GBP, EUR, PHP, etc) we need to sign up or create account with our local Bitcoin Wallet provider i.e. in the Philippines we use www .coins.ph site. I also have E-Coin.io (WirexApp.com) plastic and virtual visa cards. E-Coin/WirexApp is available in many countries except USA and India. In the Netherlands they have www .bitonic.nl platform USA has Coinbase.com Some countries do not support CRYPTOCURRENCY. Here is the long list from wikipedia. Just choose the site that is available in your country
Open main menu For non-profits, see List of bitcoin organizations. This is a list of for-profit companies with notable commercial activities related to bitcoin. Common services are wallet providers, bitcoin exchanges, payment service providers[1] and ventu

You're welcome! Happy 2017! I'm sure you're the only person from this site who could comprehensively explain the topic considering you've been using it (bitcoin) for quite a long time.

@magallon yes but more than that... It's like PayPal (etc), gold and money • We can send/receive real money thru it. • We can buy/invest just like gold, gas, etc. • We can use it to buy many things. I always use Bitcoin to reload my cellphone from
