DINNER: Pinakbet ala Joy

Philippines
January 5, 2017 1:44pm CST
no aubergine. no okra. no ampalaya. no problem! we always improvise and find ways to cook Filipino or Asian dishes! tonight we cooked "Pinakbet" for dinner.. Pinakbet is an indigenous Filipino dish from the northern regions of the Philippines. Pinakbet is made from mixed vegetables steamed in fish or shrimp sauce... we used shrimp paste just to get that little taste like the shrimp sauce.. we mixed pork and chicken in it :) of course, RICE!! then we had Coke! Hahaha! not so healthy supper.. lol what are you having for dinner or supper?
