The Los Angeles Dodgers have shown interest in making a trade with the Minnesota Twins for the services of their second baseman Brian Dozier.
The Dodgers are willing to trade their pitching prospect Jose De Leon to the Twins in exchange for Dozier who has two years on his current contract.
The Twins want more than one minor league player from the Dodgers in order for Dozier to join the Dodgers in the 2017 Major League Baseball season since the Twins are in a rebuilding mode and the Dodgers will enter the next baseball season as the four time National League West Division champion.
It remains to be seen if Dozier will be playing second base for the Dodgers or Twins in 2017.

You have a good point since the Dodgers would have to give up some pitching prospects.

I have mixed feelings about this. They need Dozier's bat but to give up De Leon and another prospect for two years is questionable. The Dodgers are starved for starting pitching and De Leon is a top prospect who is cheap.

That is true in the case from the Dodgers that they could be giving up too many players to get Dozier to join your team.
