Former Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Gus Bradley is a defensive coordinator candidate to replace Joe Barry who was terminated by the Washington Redskins at the end of the 2016 regular football season. Bradley has worked with current Washington Redskins head coach Jay Gruden when they were working together with the the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Redskins general manager Scot McCloughan when they were working with the Seattle Seahawks. Another defensive coaching candidate to replace Joe Barry is former Denver Broncos defensive coordinator Wade Phillips since both Bradley and Phillips have great reputations as defensive coordinator coaching geniuses that have coached football teams into Super Bowl contention during their tenures.
