With the latest tragedy in Tampa Florida, what else can airport security do to make things safe for everyday travelers? I know they talked about putting the metal detectors at the front door of the terminal but what happens after that point? they knew the shooter had a weapon in his checked baggage so why did they allow him to proceed? It does not matter if a person is military or even law enforcement. this should not be allowed. Innocent lives were lost for no reason and all they can say was that he had issues? I hope they don't try and put him into a institution. he deserves a very harsh sentence.
