SeaWorld's most famous orca passed away yesterday at the age of 36. A lot of people are sad and upset about it but I'm not. I am glad he is not being held captive any longer in a place that treated him so poorly. He can now be a wild orca again and he has helped set up important laws that are stopping other marine animals from living the life he had to live.
Yes, he killed three people but SeaWorld and humans are the only ones to blame for those deaths. He has been depressed for a long time now. He has taught us a lot about orcas and he is the reason that SeaWorld has officially banned orca shows, breeding orcas, and has stopped taking orcas from the wild. They will let the orcas they have to live out the rest of their days in their tanks since they can't be returned to the wild now. He will always be loved and missed by the people who respected him and wanted him free.
The photo and information are all from Google.
