Laugh until you stop crying!

Being a veteran, I have seen many challenges and sorrows. Some of those sorrows have been with my fellow veterans. I often was the go to person because I smiled a lot. I did know I smiled a lot until someone mentioned it. I had the good fortune to tell a fellow comrade to smile, or laugh until they stop crying. In essence, what I was saying was, look for a reason to smile. Then look for something that makes you laugh. Eventually, the sorrows of my fellow veteran was overwhelmed with joy.
It was a journey not a destination. My fellow soldier still has to choose to smile and look for laughter. If you are crying, I recommend that you look for something that will make you smile. And hopefully, the day will come that you will just wake up full of laughter. Try to laugh until you stop crying, it really works.

Looking for that which make us laugh in the midst of sorrow is called art of living.

My husband is also a veteran, sometimes that's all we can do. You never know what someone else might be going through and something as simple as a smile can go a very long way.
