It is really a sad state of affairs when we talk of power....Most of the countries in the world are in the path of India though I imagined a lot about their development. It is the same in those countries as in India. The power cuts, intermittent tripping, Transformers repairs, Short Circuits, etc, everything is being acceptable as a compromise by the people. Today, I have noticed some flickering in the street light. It becomes on and after some time goes off. It is like that since a week and there is no one to report it to the Electrical Department. Everybody is silent to the extreme. Do not find time just to make a call over a cell phone and inform the authorities. Everybody says that the person who takes care of such things is not making a complaint. Why? hasn't he made any complaint this time? No one has got any answer. All are owners in the colony residing in their own flats. But, depending totally on a single person who is totally tired of such activities and avoiding such things as he is not going to get anything by such service. Really frustrates me....Since a week people are tolerating and adjusting with the light As a tenant I can not take up such things. totally neglected issues that does not require serious effort. Just the electrician came and observed that it has got no bulb. Thinking what to do now?

It's interesting how different countries take care of their utilities and other needs. It definitely doesn't take much to change a bulb.

What a sad state of affairs, it sounds as if the authorities couldn't care less.
