Magical Silver Dollar!

Skip had the most wonderful dream last night. I loved hearing him tell me about it so much that I asked him to repeat it several times. I even wrote his dream on my blog at HappycolorsandGrannygee.blogspot. This is what he dreamed: He dreamed the phone rang ... an old man asked him if he was available to haul a bull to Amarillo, Texas. Skip told him he was. Skip went to the old man's house ... it was an old two-story house that hadn't been painted in many years. He spoke with the man ... they walked into the living room where an old woman sat in a rocking chair in front of the fireplace. She was fragile, very pale. Skip left on the big truck, went to Amarillo, Texas ... delivered the bull. He came back to the old man's house. The old man gave him a silver dollar. Skip asked him was that all he was paying him for 3 days work. The old man said yes. Skip left. Skip went to Raleigh, NC to a coin dealer's shop, showed the coin to the owner. He took out his eyepiece ... examined the silver dollar. He looked up at Skip, told him ... "this silver dollar is worth over a million dollars". Skip drove back to Warren County, NC to thank the old man for changing his life. He drove to where the old man lived ... the two story house was gone! The big truck was gone! No where was there anything to show the old man ever lived there. Skip felt something on his face ... he became aware of his surroundings ... he was being licked in the face by Kissy, his big Rottweiler. Skip had been dreaming! He was telling his dream to a friend ... a strange expression came on his friend's face. He pulled out 3 silver dollars he had in his pocket and said, "that gives me hope!"
