Transferring of my website to a new hosting company

I have this one website that is about to expire and if I will continue with the same hosting company, the payment will be more expensive that's why I decided to transfer to a new web hosting company. I made a research and ended up choosing the one offering the cheapest plan. I have chosen Namecheap. I only paid around $15 for domain transfer and hosting, good for 1 year. I used coupon codes to be able to save more. At first, I was confused on how to migrate my website to the new web host. Because I want my website to have the same appearance and I don't want to start again from scratch. The CEO of Namecheap sent me a welcome email, which made me feel that I chose the right company. I replied and told him that I am confused on how to start and ask if he can provide me links on how to do it. The support started. The Namecheap support team and I are exchanging emails. I actually prefer that instead of phone calls which will be expensive on my part since I am from another country. Their customer support is really good and I can say that I made the right choice in choosing them. My website will be running soon with the new server. I learned that transferring of a website to another web hosting company is not difficult if you receive a good support and assistance. It saves you time and effort.

I also purchased my domain in namecheap. I have no problems with them. Anyway, what hosting company are you using? Mine is warpline.

@bluelion By the way, how much is the hosting for namecheap? I pay $10 annually for Warpline hosting.

@annierose Maybe around that amount also, I actually paid $15 for both domain and hosting, good for one year. But I always search for coupon codes before buying to be able to get discounts.

It's good to know that you're also using Namecheap for your domain. I use Namecheap for both domain and hosting. I'm not familiar with warpline. Thank you for mentioning it.
