My Mom gave me a pack of Kisses chocolates. She said it was given by our neighbor who has a relative working abroad. Here in our country, the most common souvenir or gift to your love ones, family, or friends, when you go back home from abroad, is chocolates. It is because chocolate prices are more expensive here since they were imported from other countries. Chocolates are also available in the groceries here but commonly, we don't buy it, for practical reasons. We rather buy other food, which is also cheaper, unless we really crave for chocolates. Most people here are average or minimum wage earners that's why we often make a budget on what we are going to buy. We often just choose what is practical and necessary to buy. I love chocolates and sometimes I buy some when I really crave for it. I love Kisses. Hersheys is one of my favorite chocolate brands. Actually, I can consume a pack of chocolate in one seating, haha. That is if there's no one to share for. Chocolates gave me the feeling of satisfaction. It's delicious. And I always drink a lot of water after, which is a must.

@louievill Oh yes, and even they taste similar, it is still best if it's really made from the US.

@CookieMonster46 I haven't checked recently, but I think a tiny bar cost a dollar or least near that price. For us, living in the third world country, we consider it expensive. Haha. A tiny bar of chocolate for a dollar.

When someone gives you chocolates, it's really hard to resist. That's why it's one of the most common presents that someone gives, especially if he's been to abroad. Haha, then put it on your list for your next grocery.

@bluelion you're right. At my age, I still like eating chocolates but not like when I was younger. I'm afraid of diabetes but the impulse to eat chocolate is so strong...

@pahak627 Yes, it's better to lessen chocolate consumption and other sweets as we go older to prevent the possibility of having diabetes.

It's one of my favorite too. I also love Cadbury with almonds. But they are expensive sometimes I'm satisfied with Ricoah flat tops and curly tops

I also love Cadbury, but I preferred those ones without almonds. Yes, imported brands are expensive and we sometimes just tend to buy our local brands such as those curly tops and flat tops, and Goya, which is actually also good and can also fulfill our cravings for chocolates.
