Do one month baby require vitamin drops?

January 11, 2017 5:45am CST
Babies on the age of 15 days to 4 months generally live on mother's breast milk. Many babies also consume powder milk. These days many doctors prescribe vitamin drops in addition to the milk. How important are these drops for the babies?

That sounds about right -- only milk for up to 4mos. My nephew didn't start taking vitamins right away as far as i can remember.

I believe so.. I think they're not allowed to drink water too until such time.

Thanks Joy, I think the digestive system of the babies take time to mature. So it is better if the vitamins are consumed after 2 or 3 months.
