I just remember, when I watched the movie "Pete's Dragon". It was a great movie, I like it. It is good to watch for bonding of the whole family. The story is nice. Then someone recommended me a movie which is similar to that, the movie entitled "The Jungle Book". She said it was also a great movie and asked me to watch it. I decided to watch it. It seemed to be a really good movie. But from the very start of the scene, I noticed that the black tiger and other animals are talking like humans. I suddenly got turned off with the movie and decided not to continue watching. Haha. I just don't feel right, and it's just weird and awkward to see animals talking like humans, except in cartoons. And I also find it creepy. Haha. I'm sorry for the fans of that kind of movies but it's just not for me. I don't know if it's just me who has that thought or someone feels the same.

That;s because it's actually for the children to see . You have to have a child in you when you watch a movie like that ,

I'm sorry you don't like them. Tweet tweet. Understand what you mean however because you really need to be in the mood. How do you feel about animated movies in general. Toy story had talking toys but some use characters of people like Up.

@bluelion Did you see Roger Rabbit? I find it a little strange asking someone if they saw Roger Rabbit to begin with so yes you do have a valid point here.

Cartoons and animated movies are fine with me. But with the scene that is like a real world then mixed up with talking animals, it can turn me off. Toys are fine with me, to talk like humans. It's just a different feeling when animals are talking. I watched Ted, and it's just fine with me that the bear is talking. Haha, maybe I'm just weird. Or maybe it just depends on my mood.

I didn't know the Dragon was talking in that Movie. I think Dragon Heart was also a movie that has a Dragon talking as well. of course, in that movie, he was the last of the dragons.

No, in Pete's Dragon, the dragon is not talking like human, just roaring. I'm not sure if I have already watched Dragon Heart, maybe just on trailer, and that's an old movie right, with Mel Gibson as the main character.

I sort of agree. Animated characters are one thing and "real" animal speaking is another. Though I did watch talking animals in the Narnia movies.

Yes, you got my point. There's a difference between the two. Animated characters look like really talking, the real ones are not too obvious.
