money for a sentence

Being locked up for doing nasty things is pretty common all over the world. That is one of the reasons why I believe there is control to criminal activities to some extent. But what if ,we could hire someone to go in the jail. That sounds very funny to me. In China, the rich people hire a body double to go into the jail to serve their sentence. Isn't that the government is spending money on the correction system for the wrong guys? Would you agree on this?

I don't really think that seems right either. The person who did the crime should be doing the sentence in jail but I know money can do a lot of things that I don't agree with.

"Would you agree on that?" --- You must be joking. This is the most bizarre things I've heard of in a long time.

It reminds me a French movie of the 1950's, "Certified Copy", where a criminal pays a double to provide him alibis when he is committing crimes. Indeed it would never work in a jail, there are no doubles with the same fingerprints. Think a bit about it and you will realize that it cannot be anything else than a hoax.
