I like listening to a certain song before I start working on anything. It is normally my "favorite" song at the moment. I am pretty sure for a whole 2 months Emporer's New Clothes by Panic! At the Disco was playing at least 5 times a day. Currently, my "favorite" song (I put favorite in quotes because nothing will top my absolute favorite song, The Moritician's Daughter by Black Veil Brides...I mean nothing) is Feel Invincible by Skillet. I am a big fan of Skillet, and I had no idea they had a new album come out last year, probably because I lived with a person who did not like rock music...Yeah. I love Skillet because yes they are a Christian band and I am not Christian, but their music does not always have to be directed towards God or anything and I like that. If someone wants to think that the thing that makes them Feel Invincible is Jesus or God, they can! If they want to think it is their cat, or parent, or some loved one, they can too. I love that. This song is beautiful and the music video is absolutely gorgeous. Also...That beard. Oof. That is one amazing beard. Everyone is looking good in this video. This song is just so nice if you are in a slump because it makes you think of a reason to keep working even if you think there is no reason. What is a song that just gets you pumped up for the day? If you like rock music, or something inspirational, go for it.
