Adult time tonight!!!

I'm a stay at home mom of two beautiful little girls! I'm with them 24/7. They hardly ever go to a family members house and I miss out on a lot of things because I can't afford a baby sitter. I'm not complaining because this is what I always wanted to do. I love being with them very much. That being said sometimes us mom's just need a break from our kids and go out and have fun with friends. I'm not talking like let's get wild and go to the the bar kind of fun.lol I'm talking like going to set down at a nice quiet restaurant with a friend fun. Well tonight is the night and I'm so excited!!! My husband said he will watch the kids for me which is very rare so I'm taking him up on his offer! Will he survive? Who knows! I bet he will do great though. He's a great dad but I think this will be good for all of them!

Oh that is so nice! Yes us mom's need some time for ourselves at times too. I have not had that in a very long time either. All I really want is a date night with my husband but like you we can't afford a babysitter. We have 4 kids with one on the way so sitter's are not cheap!
I hope no matter what you do that you have a great time! =)

He did lol. When I got home my youngest was already in bed asleep and my oldest was cleaning her room and about to go to sleep.

Girl you need to whip that man into shape.. he's not "watching" his own kids so you can go out.. that's like saying you're hiring him as the babysitter. He's the dad! If you want to go out when you know he'll be home you just tell him and go!

@jenleecarley88 I hope you had a good time.. and hope you start to go out a bit more frequently. Pretty soon those kids will be old enough to stay home alone and you'll have all the time you want, but you'll miss these days like crazy!
