I can't say no to people because I want everyone to like me

I learnt it from Bojack Horseman. I had the same feeling when I first heard this, as if I was Bojack. I haven't figured out the reason that makes me this kind of person, but I feel it not good most of the time.
It's hard to have a change. Some people just have the quality in their characters, and we always say a leopard can't change its spots. One may worry people dislike them once he can't do them favors. Therefore, they can't say no even though the favors are troublesome.
However there are many people who will bully you if you look like a push-over. Bullying the weak and fearing the strong is the nature of human beings. So I'd say let's be kind and be strong. It's unnecessary and impossible to let everyone to like us. Just be ourselves and be happy.

What you do is quite right .I used to always say yes to others even though it caused me trouble. But now I think I need to make myself comfortable. I mean I'm willing to help others but first I want myself be happy.

Yes, I quite agree. I'v been hurt because of my kindness so I feel that I may look like too weak. Actually, it's misunderstanding when you always say yes, because people don't know if you are really convenient to do them favors. So I suggest just learn to say no to others.

@Guolinlin2017 Yes, and don't easily trust anyone especially those ones whom you don't know very well. Kindness should only be given to those ones who deserve it.

You said it: people will take advantage of you if you feel obligated to do favors. I would go the extra mile to help people whenever I can, but not to the extreme. It's impossible to please everyone.

Yes. People all bully the weak and fear the strong. Sometimes we help them but they don't appreciate. It's not worthy to help this kind of people.

I often say no. I don't need people to like me. I depend on myself and not on others, no reason for me to please others.

help others in any way but, never help anyone financial. Because no one will pay you back....
