I have a whole notebook full of Food Facts. I’m trying to choose some of the most interesting to share with you. I am hoping that some of you will share with me some things you know about different foods.
The longest single sausage was 5,917 feet long (well over a mile.) Sausage makers in Barcelona, Spain made this sausage in 1986.
It has been reported that Ernest and Julio Gallo learned to make wine from a pamphlet they happened to pick up at a public library in Modesto.
Speaking of some outrageous claims. Before the “truth-in-advertising" laws were enacted. Grape Nuts claimed that it “cures tuberculosis,” “cures malaria,” tightens loose teeth,” and “prevents appendicitis.” Can you imagine?
Now this one really surprised me: In a jungle, if you happen catch the smell of a movie theater lobby, beware. Tigers mark the trees with their urine which smells, would you believe, like buttered popcorn?
Flavored gelatin comes mostly from boiling cow bones and tendons.

@IreneVincent I sure didn't, but I never plan on going to any jungles so I should be safe.

I have collected trivia from a lot of different sources over the years and I enjoy knowing odd facts and sharing them with others. I'm sure they are probably already in a trivia book somewhere.

By the the time they finished the sausage, the front end probably spoiled.

I can only imagine where they stored it or even laid it out when it was being made.
