I signed our son up for play group again because it is such a great way to prep him for school and have him socialize with other kids that are around his age. I figured now that he was older since the last time we signed him up which was 2 years ago that he would probably follow directions better since he would understand more. He cooperated with getting dressed and getting in the car to go to play group. While there he played, almost followed all of the directions, and for the most part was well behaved. He didn't have any tantrums though he didn't really wanna leave. The play group is in a trailer beside an elementary school that has a playground there for the younger students and after allowing him to go down the slide once he went to the car and home with no problem at all. I am sure he will get better at following directions and a schedule as time goes on and he gets used to it. Did you take your kids to play group? How did you prepare them for beginning school?

Is he your first child? I didn't send my children to play group, only kinder, which was for them to be ready for primary school. Don't worry, your son will be just fine. We mums worry too much. Take care and don't worry...
