Do you use or are you planning to use Ad Networks to monetize your website or blog?

Ad Networks or Advertising Networks are companies that connect advertisers to websites or blogsites who wanted to host advertisements for monetizing purposes. The Ad Networks will place banners, text, or pop-ups to a portion of a website page, and in return, the website owner will earn profits for views and clicks of those advertisements. Some of the most popular ad networks are Adsense, Infolinks, Bidvertizer, Clicksor, Chitika, and Revenue Hits. But there's a lot more. One option of monetizing a blog or website is applying to these Ad Networks and once approved, they can start placing a code to their website for the ads to appear. You can earn via CPM(cost per thousand impressions/page views) or CPA(cost per action/click). CPM means you will earn an amount of money for every 1000 impressions. Impressions are page views. For example, if the rate is 1$ per CPM, then it means you will earn $1 per 1000 page views. While CPA means you will earn an amount of money for every 1000 actions. Actions can be clicks, form submits, opt-ins, sales or whatever specified). Ad networks can help to monetize your website or blog, only if you have a huge number of daily visitors such as websites like Mylot. I used to put advertisements from ad networks in my websites before, but I find it not profitable enough for me so I decided to just stop using them. I also had bad experiences with those ads, because there are some that have virus and malwares, which will only result for visitors to regret visiting and not come back. And I actually hate most of those ads especially pop-ups because it disturbs your browsing. I am not an expert in Ad network marketing, I just shared what I know and experience about it. So if there are experts or gurus out there, you may correct what I've said. How about you, do you use or are you planning to use ad networks to monetize your website or blog, if ever you have or planning to have one?

Yes, that is actually frustrating if no one or very few people is visiting your blog or website.

This is something that would help many. Perhaps you could write some details about how anyone with a blog would do this.

I have read some forums about that. Really, it is possible. I intend to make my content compatible with this profitable method.
