The writers of Squirrel Girl wanted her to be unbeatable

I read in a report from Quora.com why Marvel Comics heroine Squirrel Girl has been billed as the Unbeatable Squirrel Girl. Squirrel Girl as far as I know has never been on a cartoon series on television unlike Marvel heroes Iron Man, The Avengers, The Incredible Hulk and Captain America to name a few. I have always wondered why a hero who I guess must be around her teenage years can beat a very tough villain like Dr. Doom who has beaten up some of the top heroes in the Marvel universe. The answer is that the Marvel writers wanted to create a light hearted hero like Squirrel Girl which has pigeonholed her as a comic relief super hero. Okay since I am 55 years of age I do remember when D C and Marvel super heroes did not use abusive language, were good role models for the fans and I enjoyed their battles against their enemies. No wonder Marvel studios are interested in starring Squirrel Girl in a sitcom instead of an action adventure show. Now in my Wordgirl fan fictions I could see Squirrel Girl in a battle against my original character Panama Squirrel in a sports competition like say Home Run Derby or a game of table tennis.
