Single Mother

I salute you for providing to your kids. Not everyone can say that for themselves.

I'm sorry you are feeling so stressed. Motherhood is full of it and that's especially true for single mommies. Make sure you spend at least a few minutes each day telling your child how important he/she is to you and they are the most precious thing in your life. I found that this helps a lot. I was not a single mom but my husband was never around to help with anything, he mostly just slept there for 19 years before he left for good. My DIL is a single mom, too. She and my 3 year old granddaughter live with me. It is so hard to raise a child alone--rarely is there any time for yourself and going out and having a good time is mostly in the past. Hang in there, it will eventually get better. As my granddaughter gets more independent and capable, my DIL has a little more time for herself and they are enjoying each other much more now that they can have conversations and play games together. How old is your child?
