Former Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers head coach Chip Kelly could be hired as the offensive coordinator of the Jacksonville Jaguars. From what I saw on the Twitter page of Ian Rapoport's Twitter page, the reviews of Kelly getting the offensive coordinator position under Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone have been very negative since Kelly has not been a successful head coach in the National Football League. Kelly insists he does not want to coach in the college ranks again. Maybe getting an offensive coordinator job with the Jaguars might fit for him since he is known for being a good offensive minded coach but not a great head coach in the National Football League since it is different coaching grown men than college kids.

I suppose Kelly will find a job somewhere.

I guess there is no college that wants Kelly due to the scandal at Oregon.

So, one coach is not enough anymore, huh? or they've just been around and probably people thought them more as assistant coaches.

You are right. There are some great assistant coaches but they fail as head coaches in the professional ranks.

Everyone should want to move up. Suppose Kelly had his reasons to not want to coach at college ranks.

I guess it is more of a prestige to be in the National Football League than coaching at a college. What exactly does a offensive coordinator do? Make sure the ball goes in the right direction?

An offensive coordinator is basically a coach that designs plays for the players on the football team on the offensive side of the football. Call them a play caller for the quarterback of the team.
