what the best way to cook sourkrout in a pan that on a steam table

What do think ? Should sourkrout be serve cold or warm . Me I do not like but I have to have it for my food cart so I am trying to find what people like it. Very hot or just warm ? Yes I will be asking the board of health what their rules are to. But I need ideas.

Yes German eat hot on sauges or hot dogs. I should ask my friend I forgot about him.
