There's been a lot of hype about this show from people I know and while taking a break from work I decided to check it out too. I definitely like the show way more than the movie. I started reading these books in Elementary school and really liked them so I'm happy there's a show. I like that this show isn't rushed like how it was in the movie, they tried to fit 3 books into one movie and it was a bit of a let down. I like that NPH is playing Olaf instead of Jim Carrey, I prefer him as an actor and it makes the show less annoying to me. And last I really like that they have a narrator like they did in the books. I think it's a good show and if you liked the books should definitely watch the show

I've never read the books and I have only seen the movie once, but I did watch MOST of the series with my niece. The verdict? I'll be watching season two with her. :) Is it me, or does the theme song get stuck in your head lol? At least the "LOOK AWAY, LOOK AWAYYYYY!" part lol.

I am only 2 episodes into the show and It is so cringy but I also love it. I like NPH playing Olaf but I really really hated how it seemed like he kept forcing to say Fortune all the time. It wasn't like that in the book, like not every sentence was about it like it seemed in the show. I don't know. I liked the movie a lot too, but the show seems pretty great. Patrick Warburton as Lemony Snicket makes me happy though. I really love it. I need to get back into watching it.
