In a morbid sense, should we not be glad his progeny was snuffed out?

A Catholic Priest was executed in America, the only one to be to this date.
Of course, he wasn't the most devout of Catholics, having frolicked with a woman and eventually marrying her...
First comes love, then comes marriage...
He marries her in a private ceremony where he spoke the marriage rites. Later she confesses to him that she's with child, and finds herself with a slit throat and dismembered body thrown into the Hudson.
So, while it might seem morbid, is it not somewhat of a benefit that an evil man's lineage is no more?

Those are pretty dark thoughts you're having!
Though I must say I agree..

@ScribbledAdNauseum It's possible.. or he could have taken after the mother. You never know sometimes.
Basically the same thing happened with that Scott Peterson and Laci Peterson, I think that's their names.

@katsmeow1213 Oh yes, I remember them. I can't really remember the case that much right now. He killed her didn't he? And she was with child?

The act was a horrific one, and I feel for the woman who fell in love with him and thought he was a good man. It wasn't right what he did, and what the woman suffered because of him. The child's life as well, was a precious one. However, I shudder to think what the child's life would have been like, or if he might have taken after his (or her) father.

@diosabella Well yes, but then I am confused as to why you said "ooops"

Yikes-who would have thought such things happened. Wait, there is probably a ton more we don't know about.

I am sure there is probably a lot more that wasn't said, or forgotten with time.
