I hardly use the elevator unless thats the last option. Usually stairs or escalator depending on the situation.

Really depends. If I'm loaded with stuff to bring up or down I prefer the lift or the escalator. But If its just myself I'm carrying I like to take the stairs all the time. Pretty good exercise!
