There is a possibility that former San Fransisco 49ers head coach Chip Kelly could replace Kyle Shanahan as the offensive coordinator of the Atlanta Falcons. Shanahan is likely to become the next San Francisco 49ers head coach after the conclusion of Super Bowl 51 on February 5, 2017. The New England Patriots are interested in hiring Kelly for as an assistant coaching position working for Bill Belichick which would kind of odd since hiring Kelly would probably disrupt team chemistry with the Patriots football team. Kelly was the head coach of the San Francisco 49ers for one season in 2016 before he was terminated at the end of the regular football season after he posted a record of two wins and 14 losses. Kelly insists he does not want to coach in the college ranks in 2017.

he was a great college coach seems he can't translate that to the pros.

College ranks coaches are like father figures to the kids while in the pros they are basically care takers.

Talk about a lopsided trade between the Falcons and 49ers.

I know what you mean. If I were a Falcons fan I would beg the owners to find another coach.
