Will it be broken?

A lot of people says that "promises are meant to be broken". Will it be? that's the biggest question now that I have in my mind. Will it happen? when? How? I do believe that when we fall in love, pain and hurt will always be present. We, are just simple human being that could hurt the one we love and could also bring happiness. When you said that I need to be patient and be more understanding in time of our difficulties and struggles, when you said that I should be calm if I am angry and when you said that you won't change and will never leave me. Is this all true? is it? but, will you still hold my hand though I want to let go? Promises will always be promises and that could meant to be broken.
