okay, preparing your meals ahead of time is a must. BUT it doesn’t have to be an all day thing (unless you want it to be)
A lot of articles advise you to go shopping on Sunday and prep ALL your meals for the week on Sunday. I have tried this.. it’s absolutely back breaking and I just don’t like it.
yes, it helped me through the week to have breakfast, lunch, and snacks prepared.. but (for me) it just wasn’t worth the aggravation and money! I always ended up going back to my old habits
Try my lazy tips
1. Start by making healthy dinners – As long as you make healthy dinner, you will always have a chance for a healthy lunch the next day!
2. Make sure you PORTION out your dinner – just because you made something healthy, doesn’t mean you can eat as much as you want.. I know this from experience!
3. Dont throw out the leftovers – Again, PORTION out the food you have left from dinner.. a good start is by using a 1/2 cup of you don’t have portion containers
4. Put your portioned leftovers in tupperware – make it look good! Remake your plate but have it In Tupperware for tomorrow! Have some lean meat, veggies, and maybe a good carb.
Now you will have healthy lunch for 1-2 days (depending on how much you had leftover)
Repeat everyday!
