Uncommon bands : C - "Chickenfoot"
Alright, to be honest I don't know how uncommon "Chickenfoot" is. With it's vocalist being Sammy Hagar of Van Halen fame and Joe Satriani guitar player extraordinaire in it's ranks I think a lot more people know of "Chickenfoot" than perhaps some of the other bands I will be mentioning in this series of writing. Give a listen to the ultra gritty hard rock stylings of "Oh Yeah" included in the link. This is straight forward, hard hitting rock with a powerhouse vocal and a hard 80s sound to it. This is my kind of thing and if you like it too I encourage you to give "Chickenfoot" a listen.
Ps. I have a really great story about chicken feet - that is unrelated to this band that I should share with you all.

I never was a Van Halen fan, but the one song of theirs I do like is "Dreams," which Hagar sang lead on.

That's a good one -- I myself am more of a Van Hagar fan... as many die hard fans of the band will rib me about I'm sure

They don't seem to be really well known, in spite of their famous members. I have a funny story about chicken feet which I'll post next, lol
