Hey everyone. On with my list! :)
The band, Soundgarden. They formed in Seattle, in 1984, are currently active, though went on hiatus from 1997 until 2010. Along with Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains, and the like, Soundgarden popularized the grunge sound. They were the first grunge band to sign to a major label, all the way back in '88 (A&M Records). Personally, I have had the pleasure of seeing Soundgarden perform once in my lifetime, that was back in 2010 or 2011, I believe it was the latter, and they were great! Nothing like hearing them blast the song "4th of July" Anyways, below is a link to the song, enjoy everyone! :)

Just when I said Alice was 3rd best grunge band after Nirvana and PJ, you remind of Soundgarden. Classic song and Chris Cornell a great singer.

Haha, yes, there may not be a TON of grunge bands in general, but the ones that are there, especially that core 5 or so of them, very solid! Agreed, Chris Cornell is great! I like Audioslave quite a bit, how about you? This is kind of a random tidbit, but my dad is a really good singer, and he has been compared to Chris Cornell's singing style at times :)

@JohnRoberts That's great! Audioslave definitely had their fair share of good songs!

@mawdest I liked Audioslave a lot. More than Soundgarden actually.

Awesome! Great choice for one of your favourite songs! :)
You probably have heard a couple other songs by them, but if you are interested in checking some more out.. I would say look up "Spoonman" , "4th of July" , "The Day I Tried To Live" , "Jesus Christ Pose" those should be good, haha :)

@ScribbledAdNauseum Great, I hope you do, I think you will like at least half of them, hopefully all of them, though! :) I do the same, listen to music when on Mylot.. But I am usually on Spotify or iTunes or others. There are so many programs out there, almost hard to choose, sometimes, haha. Anyways, cheers!
