Washington Redskins team president Bruce Allen is confident that free agent to be Kirk Cousins will not be traded to the San Francisco 49ers since it is possible that his former coach Kyle Shanahan will be hired to coach their football team and would reunite his Cousins who worked with Shanahan during the 2012 and 2013 football season when Shanahan was the offensive coordinator of the team.
Allen insists the Redskins have no plans to trade Cousins to another football team to receive players in return in case Cousins hits the free agent market in March 2017 if the two sides cannot reach a contract agreement.
When the 49ers hire a new coach and general manager, it is likely that Colin Kaepernick will not be with the 49ers in 2017 as their starting quarterback and Cousins would fit with their plans to rebuild the team with him and Shanahan who cannot be hired by the 49ers until the end of Super Bowl 51 on February 5, 2017 when the Falcons will compete the New England Patriots for the Vince Lombardi Trophy in Houston Texas.
As Kirk Cousins would say in his battle cry "You Like That?"
