I do not understand this The same people that are against abortion (which I am not for as a form of birth control) , employment, education and against fighting are the ones that were acting uneducated and were protesting in the streets making a mess, fires and smashing windows of stores and cars.. Those same people support controlling girls that are now seventeen and under and some not born yet futures. They cannot go to college, get married and have children because they will have to go to war and kill or be killed! A wall is going to be built to keep illegal Mexicans out (which I do not like illegals either) but when the wall is built it will also keep Americans from crossing to Mexico for work and vise versa. Plus will prevent Mexicans coming to shop in Texas to keep the storekeepers from making money and their businesses will close...... this means possible loss of employment, businesses and the economy. Think about it, if a person wants to come into the USA illegally then most of them will not come thru when the authorities are they will come underground!

My husband works in a plastics plant in Canada. It was bought by a U.S. company several years ago and all Canadian plants except one were closed. Now we wonder what the future holds for the plant my husband works at. It is owned by an American company. Will they not be allowed to ship their product to their U.S. companies? Will the plant shut down? Or will the U.S. company sell the Canadian plant to a Canadian company? We have no idea how this will affect our future either.

It's unbelievable that such an idea of building a wall at the border can even be entertained. I thought that we should start building bridges instead of building walls. Illegals will come in wall or no wall but the act of building a wall at the border sends a very disturbing signal to your neighbors.

@dfollin That is so true. My mom used to say to me, the police is clever but criminals will always become cleverer. It's just human nature to beat the system. And humans with their ingenuity which may sometimes be misguided will always find a way around a problem.
