Early Reservations Made

Every summer we do really make the time to spend days in a beach with the whole family. Most of the time we do not make early reservations because kids and hubby find it more fun to scout for a place in an adventurous way. Good thing that they are not really picky since they love new adventures.
Sometimes I am the one who is complaining because I prefer to make reservations earlier so to avoid any problems and misadventure. This time I did it and the reservation was made two months ahead.
How do you plan your family bonding especially if it is an out of town?

Umm well in our case it's more of on the spot planning.
Because my brother lives far away so when he comes if he and everyone of us agrees and if we have ample time we plan.

I have to do that because its peak season. That means reservations are necessary to choose a good date and place. We also do on the spot planning sometimes.

I am a person that likes to plan things earlier as well. I like to know that we are able to reserve something. My mom and I don't really get to go out of town. Trying to remember the last time her and I actually done a trip that was just her and I that was out of town. I cannot remember. But both her and I like to plan, mostly because we are both very paranoid and anxious people haha

We have a yearly summer getaway with the family during Easter Sunday and we usually plan it about a month before.
