Rest in peace Mike Connors (1925-2017)

For those of us who remember the detective television series called "Mannix" that ran on the Columbia Broadcasting Service (CBS) from 1967-1975, the lead actor of that television series Mike Connors has passed away from leukemia on Thursday in Tarzana California. Connor was 91 years of age,
Mannix was produced by Desilu Productions which was the same studio that brought us the famous sitcom "I Love Lucy".
Mannix was the last show that was on Desilu Productions before it was sold to Paramount Studios.
Mannix co starred actress Gail Fisher who is Black played the role of Peggy Fair in the second season of the television series.
Thanks for the memories Mike Connors. You went the distance in life. You will be missed beyond words.

@Deepizzaguy My husband was a big fan of the Rockford Files. Anything with James Garner was wonderful, actually, and you're right!

I used to watch Mannix as a kid. ME-TV is playing the series weeknights in the middle of the night.

I remember the theme song from Mannix when I was a preteen living in the former Canal Zone in Panama on the Panamanian television stations R P C and/or T V National.

I hadn't heard about Mike Connor's passing away. Where I grew up we didn't have an CBS affiliate so I wasn't familiar with the show when it originally aired. I do remember his many appearances on a variety of different shows, including The Love Boat. He guest starred in two different two part episodes.
